Tsoukalas offers a counterpoint to more optimistic readings of the Gītā, asserting that while the text seems welcoming on the surface, its soteriological structure is ultimately exclusivist. He describes this dynamic as “modified pluralistic exclusivism”—accepting other paths only as partial approximations of the one true yogic system leading to liberation.
